Canopy Plus, Canopy Assist, and Canopy Insights add paid features for individuals who want them.
What is the difference between Canopy Plus, Canopy Assist, and Canopy Insights?

Canopy Plus ($4/month or $36/year) adds Feedback Forms and Dynamic Rubrics for structured, checkbox-and-text-field grading. Canopy Assist ($6/month or $60/year) adds Template-guided Canopy Assist grading, which drafts feedback and rubric scores for you to review before anything is sent. Canopy Insights ($7/month or $72/year) includes everything in Canopy Assist, plus Canopy Analytics and discussion insights.
Can I pay monthly instead of annually?
Yes. Canopy Plus, Canopy Assist, and Canopy Insights can each be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing saves $12 a year on every paid plan: Canopy Plus is $36/year instead of $48, Canopy Assist is $60/year instead of $72, and Canopy Insights is $72/year instead of $84.
Can I try the premium features before paying?
Yes. New individual users get a 14-day free trial of Canopy Insights, with no credit card required. If you find it useful, you can subscribe to Canopy Plus, Canopy Assist, or Canopy Insights at any time.
How does institutional pricing work?
Institutions can license Canopy Plus, Canopy Assist, or Canopy Insights by department, college or school, or campus-wide. A department can start with a one-term Canopy Insights Pilot, with the pilot cost applied to the first year's license. College, school, and campus-wide licenses are tailored to your faculty size and enrollment rather than sold off a fixed price list. Contact us and we will put together a quote for your institution.
